2012 Information for Volunteers

Today, south of the Mason-Dixon line, it's just like a beautiful afternoon in Saratoga. I am reminded that the new season will soon be complete and the volunteers will be signing up to help at events. Whether new or experienced, here are a few things you need to know:

1. We are growing so fast that I must insist on communicating by email. Just like they do at Proctor's. All new volunteers MUST have an email address. If you do not have an email address, you must find a friend who will agree to accept communications for you. This applies to both new and experienced volunteers.

2. Both the Amphitheater and the Little Theater will be handled by the Volunteer Office at SPAC. This will be a more efficient way of scheduling volunteers for everyone. The Little Theater choice sheet is separate from the Amphitheater sheet and will probably go up first.

3. Volunteers must sign up for a minimum of 10 events (you may select more) in the Amphitheater. At least two (2) of these dates should be during the Jazz Festival or Live Nation concerts.

4. Little Theater volunteers need to work during the Jazz Festival by helping Saturday or Sunday afternoon. (It's fun and pizza is involved!)

5. Attendance at one of the three (3) orientations is mandatory and will be held in late May and mid June.

Choice sheets will be posted when we know more about the Live Nation events. You will not get better choices by sending your selections early, so don't worry. The deadline will be in May.
