Venue Info
The Saratoga Performing Arts Center, set in a 2,400 acre park preserve surrounded by hiking trails, geysers and natural mineral springs has set the stage for world-class experiences for generations. From a picnic on the lawn to before or after dinner drinks at the Jazz Bar or elegant dining at The Hall of Springs, a visit to SPAC is always an unforgettable experience.
Picnic on the Lawn
SPAC is one of the few performing arts venues whose sloping lawn is perfectly suited to fully view the amphitheatre while enjoying a picnic on the lawn with friends. Guests can relax with a picnic purchased from The Hall of Springs (The SPAC Pack, a gourmet picnic with wine or child-friendly Kids' Pack picnic) or bring their own. Either way, it's an ideal way to spend an evening.
Patron's Club Dining in the Historic Hall of Springs
Listed on the National Historic Register, an example of the Beaux Arts architectural style, the Hall of Springs is designated as a National Landmark by the National Park Service. Historically called a "drink hall," visitors could drink from three separate fountains for the different springs-currently underneath the buffet tables. In the evening, this was the place to be seen!
Today, the Hall of Springs remains one of Saratoga's most distinctive settings for dining. With arched ceilings and imposing crystal chandeliers, diners can enjoy the elegant "Arts Buffet" in the Main Hall and then immediately attend a world-class performance steps away.
Key Private Bank Patron's Tent
Complimentary wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres before the curtain and at intermission during the classical performances is available exclusively for SPAC Patron members and above. This season the Patron's Tent is generously sponsored by Key Private Bank and will feature never before hosted special receptions for patrons, complimentary cocktails on select evenings, and other fun, to-be-determined events. This year's Patron's Tent will be abuzz with excitement
The Jazz Bar
The intimate indoor/outdoor bar adjacent to the Hall of Springs is the perfect place to enjoy pre-performances cocktails as well as a relaxing spot for drinks at intermission or after the performance. The Jazz Bar will be featuring pre-classical performance drink specials throughout the season. Check out SPAC's Website as details become available.
Kids Free on the Lawn
At SPAC, kids 12 and under are admitted free to the lawn! ($5 for Freihofer's Jazz Festival). Generously sponsored this year by Southwest Airlines, the program is aimed at encouraging families to enjoy the "Magic of SPAC!"
