Venue Info

The Saratoga Performing Arts Center, a 25,000 capacity performing arts venue surrounded by hiking trails, geysers and natural mineral springs has set the stage for world-class experiences for generations.

Picnic on the Lawn

SPAC is one of the few performing arts venues whose sloping lawn is perfectly suited to fully view the amphitheatre while enjoying a picnic on the lawn with friends. Relax with a "SPAC PACK" picnic from Putnam Market (gourmet sandwiches, salads, side dishes, bottle of wine and kid friendly items - call 587-3663 in advance).

Patron's Club Dining in the Historic Hall of Springs

Listed on the National Historic Register, an example of the Beaux-Arts architectural style, the Hall of Springs is designated as a National Landmark by the National Park Service. Historically called a "drink hall," visitors could drink from three separate fountains for the different springs-currently underneath the buffet tables. In the evening, this was the place to be seen!

Today, the Hall of Springs remains one of Saratoga's most distinctive settings for dining. With arched ceilings and imposing crystal chandeliers. Prior to performances diners enjoy incredible meals using locally produced ingredients and produce then attend a world-class performance steps away.

Private Patrons' Terrace

Complimentary wine, beer and hors d'oeuvres before the curtain and at intermission during the classical performances are available exclusively for SPAC Patron members and above. The Patron's tent will be available for special events, complimentary cocktails on select evenings, and an amazing array of food and seasonal produce from local farms.

The Jazz Bar

The intimate indoor/outdoor bar adjacent to the Hall of Springs is the perfect place to enjoy pre-performance cocktails and a relaxing spot for drinks at intermission or after the performance. The Jazz Bar will be featuring pre-classical performance drink specials throughout the season.

Kids are free on the Lawn for SPAC Classical Events

At SPAC, kids 12 and under are admitted free to the lawn! This program is aimed at encouraging families to enjoy the "Magic of SPAC!"
