Celebrating 43 Years of partnership between NYCB and SPAC
This is an inaugural event - a recognition and celebration of the 43 year partnership between New York City Ballet and its summer home, Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
There will be Member and Non-Member pricing, and we are holding seats in the orchestra and three of the upper rings.
When: Friday, May 16, 2008
- Noon Bus leaves Hall of Springs, Saratoga -arrive early for check in and optional lunch pick up **Option to pre-order a gourmet catered lunch pack from Angelo Mazzone/Hall of Springs catering
- The Bus will make one 15 minute stop/break
- 3:30 p.m. Arrive Lincoln Center, NYC
- 3:30-7:00p.m. Free time to spend in any way you choose
- 7:00-8:00p.m. Pre-ballet reception at Lincoln Center
- 8:00-10:25p.m. Susan Stroman's performance of the ballet, Double Feature
- 11:00 Bus leaves Lincoln Center, NYC
- The Bus will make one 15 minute stop/break
- 2:30a.m. Arrive Hall of Springs, Saratoga
Optional & Additional Cost:
- 5:30p.m.-7:00p.m. There will be a fundraiser the same evening at Hearst Tower to benefit New York City Ballet's summer residency at SPAC.

Caddyshack Classic - June 6
& New York City Ballet Gala with Honorary Chair Rita Moreno - July 19
Caddyshack Classic
The 4th annual Caddyshack Classic will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008, at the Van Patten Golf Club in Clifton Park. This 9 hole golf scramble is coordinated by the SPAC Action Council. Golfers will enjoy the Nine Wine and Dine, featuring food and wine (refreshments) served along the golf course and dinner at the club's Vista Restaurant. A Wine and Dine option is also available, featuring dinner, live auction and DJ entertainment. This event supports SPAC's Vivienne Anderson Program, which allows disadvantaged and area youth the opportunity to view select performances of the New York City Ballet at no charge during its summer residency at SPAC.
Tickets: $150 for golf + dinner (Nine Wine and Dine)
3 pm registration, 3:30 shotgun start
$100 dinner (Wine and Dine); 6:00 pm

Jerome Robbins Celebration Season - A West Side Story Night!
Be part of the summer's most exciting event! With elegant dining, a special New York City Ballet perforamce, fireworks and dancing to live music under the stars, the event offers an evening of magic and memories. The 2008 Gala promises to be one of the best ever.
This year's Gala will feature a special tribute to legendary Broadway and ballet choreographer, Jerome Robbins, as well as SPAC's Season Premier of West Side Story Suite - the ballet adaptation of his Tony Award®-winning Broadway musical. And to make the evening truly extraordinary, celebrated actress RITA MORENO who started as 'Anita' in the film version of West Side Story will be joining us for the festivities as the Gala's Honorary Chair.
Ms. Moreno, who earned an Academy Award® for her role in West Side Story, will be joining us to help make the '08 Gala a success.
