Group Frequently Asked Questions


What is considered a group at SPAC?
A group is any collection of 20 or more people who are attending the same performance with a designated spokesperson to facilitate the ticket-buying process.

When can I place an order?
You may place an order at any time after season dates and ticket prices have been released. If placing an order prior to season announcement, ticket prices, show dates, and programming are subject to change.

Where will my group's seating be?
Group seating is first determined by SPAC membership level. After group member orders are received, non-member orders are filled in the order they are received. Your seating depends on your level of SPAC membership, or for non-members the date your signed order form and 50% deposit is received.

What time will my dining reservation time at the Hall of Springs Restaurant be?
You may suggest a desired time on your order form. However, the reservation times are determined by the Hall of Springs Restaurant and SPAC. Things that are considered when determining these times include group size, group participation in pre-performance talks, as well as the number of reservations.

When do I pay for my groups tickets?
A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. Your groups order must be paid in full by 15 days before the performance.

Does SPAC rent wheelchairs?
For the performances of its resident companies (New York City Ballet and The Philadelphia Orchestra), SPAC provides a wonderful courtesy service, golf carts. Sponsored by Glens Falls Hospital and Saratoga Hospital during the graduation season (May) These six-seat carts are intended to transport those patrons who have difficulty walking.

What happens if it rains?
All shows will go on rain or shine. No refunds will be given in the event of rain.

What concessions are available at SPAC?
Aramark provides concessions for all events. Items include, pizza, hamburgers, french fries, hot dogs and beverages. Beer is normally sold at all events. Other alcoholic beverages are available at classical events.

Where do buses park?
Buses may park in either our Route 50 parking lot or by the Hall of Springs. Both lots are free.

Our group is celebrating a special occasion, do we get better seating?
The SPAC Box Office staff does their best to give groups the best seating available to our groups. However, group tickets are reserved strictly in order with no deviations for special events. Your best seating will be achieved by becoming a SPAC member and ordering early.

What about my bus driver?
For all classical performances (excluding the Jazz Festival) your bus driver is admitted free on the lawn. Please make note of how many bus drivers your group has so that SPAC can include lawn tickets for them.
