The video screens are a wonderful addition to the lawn concert experience. However, sometimes artists ask that these screens not be used for a specific event. While not common, it does happen from time to time. The screens are not used for pavilion only shows.

How do I get to meet the artist?
Contrary to what most people think, you cannot buy a backstage pass. Backstage passes, if available, are usually awarded through promotional contests and events.

In 2008, we have a special promotion called, "Ballet Behind the Curtain" featured on select ballet performance nights.

An Amphitheatre ticket holder and a guest will win immediate backstage access for a very special sneak peak of the ballet world as soon as the curtain falls. A rare opportunity! Winners will be notified the night of performance in person by one of our volunteer ushers. Ticket holders will be escorted backstage as soon as the performance ends. Check out the Website's calendar for nights when we are allowed to have "Ballet Behind the Curtain" promotions.

For classical events, if there is someone you would like to meet or get a musician or dancer's autograph after the performance has finished you may come and wait at the backstage door with other fans.

Why should I buy tickets in advance?
You avoid long lines and have the opportunity for the best possible seat location is to purchase tickets as soon as an event goes on sale. Many programs sell out.
