SPAC is challenging tradition with this new series that places you – the audience member – on the stage. Taking place on four consecutive Monday's in August, this series will feature dynamic, genre-crossing artists whose music is pushing the boundaries of classical into exciting, new directions.
As the prelude to our 2017 New York City Ballet season (July 5 – 15), we are excited to present a series of dynamic, locally-shot dance videos created by videographers and NYCB dancers, Emily Kikta and Peter Walker. The eight videos feature several company dancers performing short pieces at iconic locations in Saratoga Springs and Troy.
Dance and relax with a summer afternoon of songs from the roots and branches of American folk music. These family-friendly festivals will take place on the Gazebo Stage at Saratoga Performing Arts Center.
Freihofer's Baking Company sponsors "Live at the Jazz Bar" evenings during the classical season. Slated for seven evenings during the classical season, the hours for the live music events will be 9:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.
